The World Series of Options p.2
We’ve been having a great time building some partnerships and setting the path towards the launch of our platform, which should be sometime in late January / Early February 2022.
The mission of The World Series of Options is to perform best-in-class education to those wishing to employ options strategies in any asset class, including digital assets, to reach their investment objectives using a fun, interactive, NFT Tournament-Style platform which is community driven and wholly collaborative.
In our first article, we briefly described the project and the NFT tournament series. We understand that it’s going to take some education in order to get people up to speed on exactly what we’re doing, so let’s provide a little more color on what we’re up to … with a sneak peak!
The World Series of Options is, before anything, a platform for education. In order to do this, we will be generating option strategy NFTs … the first of which … is the OG NFT series.
Our OG NFT series will serve several purposes. The strategies held in the OG will run perpetually and without an expiration date. Each tournament held on WSO will have a payout structure (with an expiry) for the tournament participants … and each tournament will have a payout structure … for the OG NFT (without expiry).
We have finalized arrangements with our NFT artists and are proud to announce that the team behind Poppin’ Puffins is going to be our in-house NFT team! Their unique brand of art will add another level of wanting to own these NFTs … not only for the perpetual chance at tournament payouts … but also because they look SICK!
Sneak Peek of what the NFT artists are up to …
Another note … and a pretty important one. OG NFT MINTERS will be, in effect, purchasing the WSO TGE, in the form of briefly locked liquidity. An equal portion of UST and WSO tokens will be added as liquidity after the $WSO token launch in LBP (Liquidity Boostrapping Pool). After a brief (TBD) period, token holders (OG NFT MINTERS) can remove their liquidity and take ownership of both their WSO tokens as well as their UST from the liquidity provision.
